Presenter: Lina Kwee Nguyen

About the speaker:  Lina Kwee joined TUV Rheinland of North America in 2012 and currently is the Manager of International Approvals. She works on global solutions for her clients and monitors foreign markets to stay abreast of regulatory changes. Prior to TUV Rheinland, she was employed by Intertek and NEMKO USA respectfully. She has been in the International Approval industry for about 10 years. Lina speaks multiple languages and holds an M.B.A from Oklahoma City University in OK.

Topic: Regulatory requirements for wireless devices.

About the Speaker: Oliver Moyrong is the Operations Manager of TUV Rheinland’s West Coast Operations. He has 20 years of experience in the regulatory compliance field with emphasis on EMI/EMC requirements. His technical expertise is with testing and certification of intentional radiators. He has experience certifying products for the FCC as a Telecommunication Certification Body and for Industry Canada as a Foreign Certification Body. He has in-depth knowledge of the European Union’s EMC and Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directives and formerly acted as a U.S. Conformity Assessment Body for these Directives.

About the speaker: Geoffrey Bock is the Business Development Manager for Environmental Services for TUV Rheinland. He has been with the company for over 10 years. Currently, Geoffrey is intensely involved in educating and training manufacturers on the RoHS / REACH and WEEE directives. He is also a committee officer (ASTM F40) for the development of new RoHS standards with the ASTM F40 standards committee that will globalize testing and measurement for substances in materials.

About the speaker: Sam Tsoming is a Seattle native and military veteran. He has been with the Commerical Services for 15 years and currently serves as the Deputy Team Leader or the Commercial Service's Global Information and Communication Technologies Sector Team, an international network of Trade Specialists who serve and focus on high technology companies.
